A young teenage Aboriginal boy is missing and presumed dead after reports he fell victim to an alligator attack while swimming in a creek with his brothers. The children were playing on Milingimbi Island when the attack occurred. But so far authorities have been unable to locate the boy's body or any other evidence indicating an alligator or perhaps even a crocodile had attacked the boy. Although shark attacks are relatively rare in the waters off Australia's west coast, every year hundreds of swimmers, surfers and divers are seriously hurt or occasionally even killed. In fact, local residents have pointed out that fatal attacks have actually increased in recent years, with two of the most recent incidents being the death of a surfer in August 2010 and another fatal attack on a diver in February 2011.

Singapore - "I thought it was a show" said Dutchman W. R. de Boer, paying a visit to the Singapore Zoo. "I saw a man lying on the ground with a bucket over his head. He yelled and the tigers came towards him", he recalled. "I knew it wasn't a show when the claws came out and there was blood. By then, visitors standing around the enclosure were screaming for the tigers to go away.

CASPER, Wyo. - A woman called 911 to report a bothersome "kitty cat" sitting on her porch hissing. Officer Mike Ablemans routine day was shaken up considerbly when he arrived and discovered it was an 80 pound Mountain Lion! A game warden tranquilized the mountain lion and the animal was relocated.
